Optimisation or Optimization? Web Pages Optimised or Optimized?

SEO aka Search Engine Optimisation (or Optimization in US English Terms) A modern "Art Form" part science part intuition and skill but what exactly is it?

SEO Search Engine Optimisation is all about giving the surfers of the internet (potentially the viewers/readers of your web site) something relevant to find from a particular search term they would type into a Search Engines search field. SEO is also about giving the Search Engines what they need to ascertain if your web site is relevant to that particular search term. Good Search Engine Optimization takes into account many factors, for example did you notice how I spelt Optimisation with an S the first time in this paragraph whereas I spelt Optimization with a Z the second time round?

"Spelling Optimisation " with a S and then "Optimization" with a Z has more than just what at first looks like a typing error behind it as far as thought and planning goes! You see there are two major standard types of English used on the internet and taught to people as English Language in schools and institutes of further education around the World. There is the Standard British English which is used in the UK and uses S in the spelling of Optimisation and then there is the US Standard English which uses Z when Spelling Optimization.

English Language Specific SEO Search Engine Optimisation (Optimization) US Standard English & British Standard English

UK SEO and US SEO unless you wish to be area specific can be combined as in my example above using Optimisation and Optimization to explain one of the differences in UK and US standard English. This is something both UK and US based webmasters and those targeting these two language areas ought to bear in mind if they want to reach the widest possible audience with their own SEO.

The Most Powerful English Language SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is achieved when the Optimiser attains a harmonious use of both US & UK Standard English whilst maintaining a healthy relationship wih the Search Engines without losing the readable essence that ensures the human readers wil be equally satisfied no matter which English Standard they use and are most familiar with. Unless you only want UK or US based traffic/surfers this is something that needs to be considered when it comes to certain words and search terms and getting your web site found.

1, Search Engine Optimization US Standard English Words. center, fiber, theater, color, humor, recognize, analyze, optimize, traveled, traveler, archeology, maneuver, dialog, Pants.

2. Search Engine Optimisation UK Standard English Words. centre, fibre, theatre, colour, humour, recognise, analyse, optimise, travelled, traveller, archaeology, manoeuvre, dialogue, Trousers.

Dialog for breaking a "US Market" & Dialogue for a "UK Market"!

Recognizing opening a Dialog is the language to use for a US Market and that one would find after analysing opening a Dialogue would be the equivalent for a UK market is useful to know when it comes to the wording on your website and it's intended target audience.

When implementing the SEO on your web site you ought to bear in mind whether it is just a US or UK based English speaking/reading audience you are writing for or whether you are trying to reach both. Something to bear in mind when employing a SEO Writer for your web site if you are not writing your own text content. You should ask a Web SEO Content Writer if they have considered this aspect of things and how they are going to approach this on your behalf. This especially applies if you are trying to reach the widest English Language speaking audience as possible.

Now if you are only targeting a UK audience then you want to concentrate on spelling things the British Standard English way. This mean using S instead of Z in words like Optimisation Anaylise and Realise. You will also need to spell words with a U included when it comes to words like Colour and Flavour and words like Theatre and Centre are spelt with the R before the E in British Standard English.

Whereas if you are only targeting a US audience then you want to concentrate on spelling things the American Standard English way. This mean using Z instead of S in words like Optimization Analyze and Realize. You will also need to spell words without a U included when it comes to words like Color and Flavor and words like Theater and Center are spelt with the E before the R in American Standard English.

Attaining High Serps (Search Engine Results Pages) is possible for both Standard American English & British Standard English on the same website or your website can have area and language specific parts that divide up your surfers to text written specifically for their type of Standard English usage.

A little sub note: It is also worth bearing "Typo's" in mind when it comes to SEO! For example " otpimisation, opitmisation, optmiisation, optiimsation, optimsiation, optimiastion, optimistaion, optimisaiton, optimisatoin, optimisatioh, saerch, serach" are common typos for "Optimisation" and "Search" keywords and people can "Stumble Upon" your website as opposed to others when you cleverly incorporate the most common typos associated with your top search terms into your website. Don't do what BMW did though and fill your website with keywords and phrases that are invisible to the human eye as it will most likely get your website banned by Google.
